2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use CepPro, we may process the following categories of information:

  • Account information: name, email address, login/account details, language preferences, workspace membership.
  • Workspace and business information: business name, branch or location information if entered, user roles, settings, and operational preferences.
  • Customer records entered by users: customer names, phone numbers, email addresses, device details, repair history, sales history, notes, and other information entered by the shop.
  • Operational data: products, inventory, barcodes, stock movements, repair tickets, retail sales, purchase orders, receiving records, suppliers, cashier shifts, refunds, reports, and accounting-related operational records.
  • Technical and security data: IP address, browser/device information, timestamps, logs, session and security events, error logs, and diagnostic information.
  • Payment and subscription information: subscription status, plan, invoices and payment references, billing email, and payment-provider customer or subscription IDs where applicable.

We use the information described above to:

  • Provide and operate the service.
  • Authenticate users and secure accounts.
  • Maintain workspace isolation and role-based access.
  • Process subscriptions and manage billing status.

4. Payment processing

CepPro may use third-party payment providers or a Merchant of Record such as Dodo Payments to process payments, taxes, invoices, refunds, disputes, and payment-related compliance. Payment-related personal data may be processed by the payment provider according to its own terms and privacy policy. CepPro does not store full credit card numbers on its servers.

5. Customer data entered by shops

Shop owners and authorized users are responsible for ensuring that the customer, employee, supplier, and operational data they enter into CepPro is collected and used lawfully, including providing notice and obtaining consent where required by applicable law.

6. How we share information

We share information only with the limited set of recipients needed to operate the service:

  • Payment providers and Merchant of Record for payment processing.
  • Hosting, database, and infrastructure providers used to run the service.
  • Diagnostics and analytics tools where actually used.
  • Customer support tools where actually used.
  • Legal, regulatory, or security authorities where required by law.
  • A successor entity in the event of a business transfer.

7. Data storage and security

CepPro is built on secure infrastructure with authentication, role-based access, workspace isolation, Row Level Security policies on the database, and HTTPS where the deployment platform provides it. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and you are responsible for using strong credentials and protecting access to your account.

8. Data retention

Account and workspace data is retained while the workspace is active. Operational, legal, accounting, and security data may be retained for as long as needed to meet operational, legal, or security obligations. Deletion requests are honoured subject to lawful retention requirements; data in backups and logs may persist for a limited period before expiring.

9. International use

Information may be processed in countries where our infrastructure or payment providers operate. By using CepPro, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in those jurisdictions.

10. User rights and requests

Depending on your location, you may have certain privacy rights, such as the right to access, correct, or delete personal information about you. Requests can be sent to the contact address below; we may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

11. Children

CepPro is intended for business use and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
